I was born in New Zealand, raised throughout the world, and spent a large part of my childhood in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, living in the rainforest.
My love for wild places is part of my DNA and I am devoted to wildlife and habitat preservation, including the mountain gorillas in DR Congo. I currently live in Silicon Valley with my husband - Todd, Jake the dog, lots of kitties, and an array of wild birds which has transformed my backyard into a certified wildlife habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.
